Swastik Sharmah

Swas Sharma is a Research Associate with the Center for Global Security Research at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. He is a rising junior at Northwestern University and is pursuing a triple major in Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences, Economics, and Political Science. He is also a midshipman in the Northwestern Naval ROTC program and hopes to commission in the US Navy as an intelligence officer. His research interests include American foreign policy and Great Power Competition in East Asia. In particular, he wants to explore how mathematical fields such as game theory and econometrics can be used to develop international relation theory and its practical applications.
