Mariah Horner is the Senior Administrative Assistant at the Center for Global Security Research (CGSR) at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. She started with CGSR in April 2021. Her career at LLNL started in 2014, at the West Gate Badge Office, where she served as a Security Access Specialist, and later as the Team Lead, from 2018-2021. Mariah provides executive level administrative support to the CGSR Director and Deputy Director. Her focus is to manage daily calendars locally and while on travel, coordinating schedules in different time zones, multiple locations and requiring different levels of clearances. She coordinates domestic and foreign travel with multiple agencies with several top-level offices. Represents the CGSR Director to other senior management/executives, both internal and external to the lab with a high degree of autonomy. Mariah is working toward completing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business at Las Positas Community College.
