Ugne Komzaite, CGSR Research Associate

Ugne Komzaite is a research associate at the Center for Global Security Research (CGSR) at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Her independent research at CGSR focuses primarily on nuclear deterrence in Europe, specifically in Baltic States.

Prior to CGSR, she received her MA in Arms Control and International Security from King's College London in 2018, where her main interest was the role of drones in the changing nature of war and the nexus of drones policies and technology. Ugne also interned with the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), where her research focused on nuclear disarmament verification.
