Sanjana Gogna

Sanjana Gogna is a Research Associate at the Center for Global Security Research (CGSR) at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Her current research focuses on the nuclear deterrence dynamics between China and India. She is a recent graduate of Nonproliferation and Terrorism Studies at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies (MIIS) at Monterey, where she was also a Graduate Research Assistant at the James Martin Centre for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS) and worked on nuclear security issues concerning China, India, and the United States.

Originally from New Delhi, Sanjana has worked as a Research Associate at the Center for Air Power Studies (CAPS), which is a think tank associated with the Indian Air Force. At CAPS, she wrote the monograph An Indian Perspective on China's Nuclear Weapons. Sanjana has contributed articles to Comparative Strategy, Strategic Analyses, and World Politics Revie. She has a bachelor's and a master's degree in Political Science from the University of Delhi.
