Phil Goldstein

Phil Goldstein is a Graduate Student Research Intern at the Center for Global Security Research (CGSR) at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. His research at CGSR focuses on China and northeast Asia regional security as well as CBRN Terrorism.

During the spring and summer of 2016, he interned at the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction at the Pentagon. While completing his graduate studies, he also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies.

He holds a BA in International Politics & Economics from Middlebury College. While pursuing his BA, he studied abroad for one semester at the Johannes Gutenberg Universität in Mainz, Germany through the Middlebury C.V. Starr Schools Abroad Program.
