2nd Lieutenant Maxwell Moawad is a Research Associate at the Center for Global Security Research (CGSR) at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. His research studies explore the effects on deterrence and defense credibility in response to the development of hypersonic weapons.
Prior to joining CGSR, 2nd Lieutenant Moawad earned a Bachelors of Arts from Miami University (OH), where he studied Political Science with a minor in Aerospace Studies. He earned his commission with the United States Air Force through the AFROTC program, and will attend Undergraduate Pilot Training following his research at CGSR.
