Prior to joining CGSR, Kaitlyn attended the University of California, Berkeley, where she received her B.A. in Global Studies (Peace & Conflict, Europe & Russia) and Russian language & literature. While at UC Berkeley, she was awarded the Gilman Scholarship to study abroad in St. Petersburg; she also conducted research on deaths of despair for Professor M.
