Hugh Harsono

Hugh Harsono is a Research Associate at the Center for Global Security Research (CGSR) at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. His research interests include blockchain, digital currencies, and emerging technologies’ impact on international security, technology policy, and strategic competition.

Hugh is completing a Master of Business Administration degree from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, where he also studied economics as an undergraduate student. Hugh has worked for Ripple focusing on central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) and previously served in 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne).
