Henry Gilchrist is a research associate at the Center for Global Security Research at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Currently a cadet at the U.S. Air Force Academy, he is pursuing a B.S. in political science and nuclear weapons and strategy. Henry’s research interests include political theory, international relations, deterrence theory, and nuclear strategy and posture. His independent research focuses on exploring the theoretical foundations for deterrence strategies such as madman diplomacy.
