Emilyn Tuomala is a research associate at the Center for Global Security Research (CGSR) at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Her research while at CGSR focuses on the incorporation of emerging technologies into the greater umbrella of strategic capabilities.
In addition, Emilyn is also pursuing an M.A. in Security Policy Studies at the Elliott School of International Affairs with a concentration in science and technology. She previously graduated from the University of Connecticut with a B.A. in international security and political science.
