Elsie Bjarnason

Elsie Bjarnason is jointly interning with the Center for Global Security Research and the Cyber Defenders program at LLNL, where she is working on cybersecurity issues from both the technical and the policy perspectives.

Elsie graduated from George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs in May 2017 with an MA in International Science and Technology Policy. During her time as a graduate student in Washington, DC, she interned at the Brookings Institution and the Nuclear Threat Initiative.

Elsie has a BS in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
