Brandon Cortino is a research assistant at the Center for Global Security Research at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. He brings a unique combination of Russian language proficiency and perspective having studied in Russia for 18 months, including one year at Saint-Petersburg State University.
Brandon recently graduated from North Carolina State University with a master's degree in International Studies, specializing in security. His research includes a policy analysis of INF treaty's collapse, hypersonic missiles, and Russia's influence in the Balkans.
