Andy Goodwin

Andy Goodwin is an undergraduate research intern at the Center for Global Security Research (CGSR) at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). His research at CGSR includes analyzing United States deterrent strategies within gray-zone conflicts as well as escalatory gaps within the South China Sea dispute.

Andy is a rising senior at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO where he is studying political science with an emphasis on nuclear strategy. Upon graduation, Andy hopes to attend pilot training.
