Veronica Chinchilla

Veronica E. Chinchilla is a Research Associate with the Center for Global Security Research at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. She is currently pursuing an M.A. in Nonproliferation and Terrorism Studies with a specialization in Financial Crime Management and Japanese as her language of focus from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. Her research areas of interest include nuclear extended deterrence, assurance, and strategic regional stability.

She previously worked with the U.S. Department of State and worked as an AmeriCorps VISTA. She holds a B.A. in International Relations and Psychology from Dominican University of California.
