Harrison is a research associate at the Center for Global Security Research (CGSR) at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). His research interests include emerging and disruptive technologies as well as great power competition/cooperation.

Originally from Atlanta, GA, he received his B.A. in International Studies and Public Policy Leadership from the University of Mississippi in December 2020. In fulfillment of his requirements to graduate, he studied abroad for a semester in Moscow and wrote an undergraduate thesis ("Diabolus Ex Machina? A Comparative Case Study...") which focused on the impact of the introduction of fully automatic weapons to irregular conflict. Prior to joining CGSR, he was the Security and International Affairs Think Tanks project lead at the Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program. He has also interned for the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism.
