Ross Buchanan
Ross Buchanan is a Postdoc at the Center for Global Security Research (CGSR) at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. His interdisciplinary research examines deterrence, climate change, and public opinion.
Ross got his PhD in political science at the University of Texas at Austin in 2020 and then worked for two years at the Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (IPPRA) at the University of Oklahoma. At IPPRA, he worked with Sandia and Pacific Northwest National Laboratories on developing policy for the storage of spent nuclear fuel.
