Daniel Allen is a Research Associate at the Center for Global Security Research at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). His work supports CGSR’s “New Regional Challengers and Challenges” project, with a focus on the Middle East, emerging powers, and missile programs through open-source intelligence.
Daniel earned his B.A. in Political Science and Cultural Anthropology at Middlebury College. During his undergraduate years, he worked for the Middlebury Institute for International Studies at Monterey, where he provided analysis on foreign nuclear programs and weapons capabilities. He has previous experience working in the Department of Defense and his analyses have been featured in The Diplomat, Politico, and RUSI.
