Emma Cheng is a Research Associate at the Center for Global Security Research (CGSR) at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Her research focuses on nuclear deterrence and nonproliferation in the Indo-Pacific.
Prior to CGSR, Emma interned at the Department of State and the Institute for Indo-Pacific Security. She was also a Young Fellow at the Nuclear Nonproliferation Education and Research Center (NEREC) in South Korea. She received a B.S. in International Politics and minor in Chinese from Georgetown University.
