Candace Huntington

Candace is a Research Associate at the Center for Global Security Research at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and a graduate student in the Security Studies Program at Georgetown University. Her work supports CGSR’s “Toward Deterrence Strategy 3.0,” focusing on the impact of emerging technologies on deterrence and strategic stability in space. 

Previously, she worked as a Research Associate at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, DC on arms control and nuclear policy issues. At Georgetown, she is the co-president of the student nuclear club “All Things Nukes” and writes for the Georgetown Security Studies Review. She earned a BA in Political Science from Skidmore College.
