Robin Wong is a fellow at the Center for Global Security Research at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Her work focuses on understanding 21st century energy market and resource dynamics and their impacts on the global major power balance and US National Security postures. Robin also works on systems analyses related to infrastructure risk, capacity, and resiliency in both the Global Security and Weapons & Complex Integration Directorates and leads the Systems & Policy Analysis Group in the Engineering Directorate’s Computational Engineering Division.

Prior to joining LLNL in 2018, Robin worked as a Program Manager at the US Department of Energy, where she was responsible for the technical management of the Loan Programs Office $10B+ solar generation investment portfolio. Robin’s experience also includes several private sector roles advising clean energy investors ranging from small scale non-profits to international development organizations and commercial banks.

Robin received her M.S. in Applied Physics from Cornell University, her M.A. in Sustainable Development from SIT Graduate Institute and her B.A. in Physics from Lawrence University.
